Philip Greene Almy's father-in-law, Nehemiah Osburn, came to Rochester in 1820 and built his home there. His home was an inn of sorts, and was known as the Osburn House and later as the Mills Hotel.
Mary Elizabeth Osburn's grandfather was John Osburn, Sergeant, New York Militia.
