The will of Robert Keirby of Westport, MA, proved 1810, bequeaths to his grandchildren (children of his daughter Sarah Kirby Almy) namely: Charles, Robert, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Bradford.

Children ii, iii, and vi through xv above were identified in land deeds for property purchased by Samuel (1233-3) and willed to his son John (1233-32), and the subsequent sale of this property by John's heirs. These transfers of land were made and/or recorded between 1825 and 1845.

John Almy was in the War of 1812 and was wounded at Lundy's Lane.
