Lydia F. Kelton was a descendant of Richard Warren and John Howland, passengers on the Mayflower in 1620. Ada Frances and Marion D. Almy were both members of the Rhode Island Society of Mayflower Descendants.

Ada Frances Almy was an assistant at the Providence Public Library where she was emplayed for 43 years. She retired in 1961. She published verse and articles in various magazines and papers, including the Christian Science Monitor.

Marion Davenport Almy was a secretary for the Providence Washington Insurance Co. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rhode Island Historical Society, the Ex Club, and the Field Naturalist Society.
