Alice Bateman Almy held many offices in the Bristol and Rhode Island state DAR organizations and was a staunch supporter of the CAR (Children of the American Revolution). She was always deeply interested in the compilation and preservation of historical and genealogical records. She was an organizer and charter member of the Bristol Historical Society, and served as its president and curator. Alice's SS No. is 039-22-0922.
