Rosemary is a native of Rhode Island. She and her husband currently reside in Darlington, South Carolina. Her educational and work experience background has prepared her for the duties which she has assumed. She is a graduate of the university of Rhode Island and has done additional study at Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina. Other preparation has been done at Community College of Rhode Island and Johnson and Wales University, Warwick, Rhode Island, where she completed some master's level course work.

Rosemary comes to the MHA from Tri-County Mental Health Centers, South Carolina Department of Mental Health where she served a Occupational Training Coordinator.

The Mental Health Association in Florence County is an organization made up entirely of volunteers except for the part-time director. Rosemary will work with the MHA Board of Directors to coordinate information and services to assist families to understand and find help for individuals suffering from any form of mental illness. One of the primary goals of the MHA since its beginning in the 1950's is to help eradicate the stigma which far too often is attached to mental illness.
