News from Helen Burke on the South Coast of England

In December I received an Email from Helen Burke, a descendant of Samuel Almey of Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, England, who was born in the 1600's. She wrote to tell me that her mother, H. Mary Almey, born 28 March 1912, had died on March 18, 1999, just short of her 87th birthday. "The cause of death was pneumonia, although poor clinical care and malnutrition in hospital underlay this." The thoughts and prayers of the Almy/Almey family are with Helen in her loss. Helen stated that "we used to be in contact some years ago about my branch of the Almey family in Leicester" but "lost touch on one of my endless moves around the country (I am now based on the South coast)."
