In this Issue

Another travel adventure by Barbara K. Almy (1233-4668-1323) is in this issue. Barbara is a good writer and gives us interesting verbal pictures of her travels. She is again traveling with her parents, but this time they are accompanied by Don and Lorraine Almy who live in Edmonds, WA. Lorraine's maiden name was Almy; the daughter of Loren Billings (1407-1C74-4) and Jean (Bobbitt) Almy. Donald Almy (1233-4668-151) is Barbara's father Floyd's first cousin.

I find Barbara's New Zealand travel very interesting. Maybe because my wife and I have been there, done that. I believe all will find this account of their vacation very interesting.

Remember when the only cars in the school parking lots belonged to the teachers?

Remember when a double dip ice cream cone was only a nickle and you had three flavors to choose from - vanilla, chocolate and strawberry?

Remember when the "gang" sat on the curb under the street light at nights and just talked till nearly nine o'clock? I do!
