DAVID ALMY (1233-8618-153)

David Almy, 54, of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, died March 8, 1996 of pancreatic cancer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. David was born July 3, 1941 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the son of Richard and Ruth (Lovering) Almy. He was president of McCall and Almy Inc and had been active in the real estate business for 30 years. Previously he was president of Legatt, McCall/Grubb & Ellis.

David was a director of Merrill Lynch Industrial Funds, a trustee of the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute and a director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. His partner, William McCall said David was held in high regard "not only because of his professional competence, but also because of his integrity and warm personal style. His quick wit and vast inventory of jokes created a special atmosphere for all his business dealings."

David leaves a wife Barbara (Hamilton); three daughters and two sons.

Lorena M. (Goodenough) Almy (1232-1272-422W), 90, wife of Lawrence Charles Almy, died Ionia, Michigan, January 12, 1993. She was born in Ionia on November 27, 1902.

Mildred Emeline (Morse) Almy, (1232-1272-421W), 88, wife of Vene Lyman Almy, died Lyons, Michigan, October 23, 1994. She was born in Portland, Michigan April 17, 1906, the daughter of William H. and Bessie (Yeoumans) Morse.

Emma Bernedette (St. Arnold) Almy (1232-1272-43W), 94, wife of Elmer Ellsworth Almy, died Tucson, Arizona, May 29, 1995. She was born in Sudsbury, Ontario, Canada, July 13, 1900.

Juanita Sarah (Almy) Dalga (1232-1272-432), 73, daughter of Emma and Elmer Almy, died Tucson, Arizona, January 24, 1996. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, October 25, 1922.
