Jennifer M. Almy, daughter of Navy Captain John H. and Marcy (Zwerling) Almy has graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, and is now a full-fledged M.D. She is also a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and is currently assigned to the Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Virginia.
Brent H. Nichols was married to Lorraine Leikie on June 7, 1997. The date was the 39th wedding anniversary of Brent's parents, Barbara and Edward Nichols. Grandmother Sylvia Nichols reported the marriage and said it was a gala occasion and that lots of family were in attendance. Our best wishes go to the newlyweds.
Corey Robert Jones was born June 10, 1997 (a month early) and weighed 6 pounds, 2 oz. He is the son of Robert Phillip Jones (1239-2165-1714) and Kendra Helliwell Jones of Newbury Park, California. Grandparents are Arthur Daniel Jones, Jr. and Marion Jane Almy Jones; and Peter and Sandra Helliwell of Northampton, Massachusetts.
