Brady's grandparents, William T. and Connie Jo Almy, wrote in February that they had a new arrival in their family; a grandson named Brady William Krause. He is the son of their daughter Sarah and Brett Krause. Brady joined his sister Maria Kathleen who was born in August 2001.
I guess they were still excited about their new grandchild because they failed to tell me when and where he was born.
Congratulations on the new arrival!
Harold D. Almy passed away March 20, 2004, one day past his 81st birthday, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his wife, Beth, of nearly 56 years. Harold and Beth had four children: Tina, Richard, Barbara, and Gregory. Harold also leaves behind four grandchildren: Megan, Nicholas, Joey, and Zachary.
Harold served in the United States Navy from June 1943 to March 1946 and had a rate of Radioman First Class. In his civilian occupation Harold worked as an engineering aide at the Boeing Company.
Harold was a good family man that loved fishing, hunting, bowling, traveling, and gardening while he was still able. He was an active participant in the two travels that his daughter Barbara has written about in these newsletters: "Drive to Alaska" starting in Newsletter No. 105, and "New Zealand Vacation" starting in Newsletter No. 114.
