William D. Almy (1239-2165-181), great-grandson of Captain Holder Almy, whose walking stick was featured in Newsletter 116 (October 2003), has acquired that walking stick from the woman, an antique dealer in England, who purchased it at a trade fair.
William Almy is going to tell us more about getting the walking stick and more about his great-grandfather Captain Holder Almy.
I had hoped that information would be available for this newsletter, but it is not. We will look forward to having it for the next issue (July 2004).
