Pilar and Doug Simon announced the birth of their daughter Maria Teresa Simon on May 10, 2005. She weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 21 inches long at birth.
Hope Hamilton sent me an e-mail (in plenty of time to make this issue of the newsletter) that their only daughter, Adair, was getting married September 30 to Brad Watson. Hope says they are both 36 and never married. Adair worked at UNHCR in Geneva, Switzerland for 6 years. Adair lives in Austin, Texas.
I will get more details for my records at a later date. But now, congratulations to the newly weds and we wish them many years of happy married life.
Charles Stopford (1408-3312-1313) sent me an e-mail the morning that his Aunt Helen died, October 21, 2005. He wrote "Aunt Helen was 89 and had been in a nursing home in New York for the last 8 years. She had suffered several strokes and recently had a bad fall."
